Staff Accountant – Assistant Manager

Job Qualifications

– B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited college
– 0-3 years of public accounting experience
– Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
– Proficient analytical skills
– Understand basic accounting theory but may not have experience to know when to apply specific procedures or consult directly with the client on all matters
– CPA license, or have the desire and intention of obtaining the CPA designation


– Assist upper level staff
– Preparation of individual and business taxes
– Preparation of monthly financial statements for small business clients
– Some payroll and sales tax exposure
– Some client communication and interaction
– Ongoing training to ultimately be promoted to a Senior Manager position, thus assuming responsibility for overseeing an assigned client base for our Firm
